As for me, I’m Ames - and I’m attached to my camera.
If you’re really interested about my history as a photographer, you can check out the whole story here.
Otherwise, all you need to know is that I’m an artist - and an somewhat awkward and overly chatty one at that. My biggest inspiration throughout my many mediums comes from the four elements - earth, water, fire, air,
GETTING TO KNOW ME
I am rather average, especially as a 30 something woman. I wear Sperry saltwater shoes with just about every outfit and daily teatime helps me be a happier human. I am a supporter and defender of all things human rights, truly can’t stand the taste of tomato sauce (yes, even pizza) and have a habit of using bitmoji gifs for just about every type of communication.
Aside from my love of photography and history, some of my favorite things include studying personality types (infp, 5w6 since you didn’t ask), reading cheesy action novels (sigma force fan for life!) and scavenging milk glass from thrift stores to add to my never-ending collection.
Art has been a consistent theme throughout my life - color, textures, lines and patterns tend to be where my eye goes first. As such, things such as other print mediums, decorating, fashion, and even cooking have been previous hyperfixations. Feel free to take a look around and check out some of the nuttiness!
I’m raising a pint sized comedic genius alongside their father (plot twist: I’m gay - dad and I are putting our own spin on queer co-parenting) along with a couple cats named after fictional TV characters. There’s a plastic penguin that lives in the front yard, too.
